Branch Business Manager I for Addis Ababa

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Business Manager I to lead our Addis Ababa branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing branch operations, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve branch targets and objectives
• Manage and supervise branch staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify business opportunities and challenges
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders
• Monitor and control branch expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Provide coaching and training to branch staff to enhance their skills and performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
• Proven track record of achieving business targets and leading high-performing teams
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian business laws, regulations, and market trends
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software applications
• Fluency in Amharic and English; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
• Certification in business management or a related field is an added advantage
