Job Title: Biometric Officer / Biometric Collection

Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Biometric Officer to join our team in Ethiopia. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and managing biometric data for various projects and clients. Key Responsibilities

• Collect and process biometric data, including fingerprints, facial recognition, and iris scans, in accordance with established protocols and standards
• Operate and maintain biometric equipment, including scanners, cameras, and software
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security, and conduct regular quality checks to identify and resolve any issues
• Manage and coordinate biometric data collection activities, including scheduling, logistics, and personnel management
• Collaborate with other teams, including project management, IT, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of biometric services
• Develop and implement procedures and guidelines for biometric data collection, processing, and storage
• Provide training and support to staff and clients on biometric data collection and processing procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
• At least 2 years of experience in biometric data collection, processing, and management, preferably in a similar role or industry
• Proven knowledge of biometric technologies, including fingerprint, facial recognition, and iris scan systems
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and data integrity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
• Proficiency in English and Amharic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with biometric software and equipment, including scanners, cameras, and databases
• Certification in biometric data collection, processing, or a related field is an advantage
