Alliance & Vendor Management Officer
Brief Summary
We are seeking an experienced Alliance & Vendor Management Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategic alliances and vendor relationships to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of business development, contract management, and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement alliance and vendor management strategies to achieve business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend potential alliance and vendor partners
- Negotiate and manage contracts with alliance and vendor partners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with alliance and vendor partners
- Monitor and analyze performance of alliance and vendor partners
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with alliance and vendor partnerships
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
- Minimum 3 years of experience in alliance and vendor management, business development, or related field
- Strong understanding of contract management and negotiation principles
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
- Strong problem-solving and risk management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software
- Fluency in English and Amharic; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
