Core Banking Functional Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Core Banking Functional Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting core banking solutions, working closely with clients to understand their business requirements, and configuring the system to meet their needs. Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support core banking solutions, including system configuration, testing, and deployment
• Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and provide functional expertise to meet their needs
• Conduct business process analysis and identify areas for improvement, providing recommendations for system enhancements
• Develop and deliver training programs to clients on core banking systems, ensuring a smooth transition and effective use of the system
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, implementation, and support, to ensure a cohesive and effective delivery of core banking solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in core banking, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our services and solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 5 years of experience in core banking implementation, support, or consulting, with a focus on functional configuration and business process analysis
• Proven expertise in core banking systems, including Temenos T24, Flexcube, or similar platforms
• Excellent understanding of banking operations, including retail and corporate banking, treasury, and trade finance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and internal teams
• Fluency in English, with Amharic language skills an added advantage
• Certifications in core banking, such as Temenos T24 Certification or similar, are highly desirable
