We are seeking an experienced Senior, IS Auditor to join our team. As a Senior, IS Auditor, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on audits of our information systems and technology processes. You will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to management. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audits of information systems and technology processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop audit plans to address these risks
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement
• Perform audits of IT systems, including network infrastructure, operating systems, databases, and applications
• Test and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls
• Prepare and present audit reports to management, including findings, recommendations, and action plans
• Collaborate with IT management and staff to implement audit recommendations and ensure remediation of audit findings
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in IT audit and make recommendations for process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Professional certification in IT audit, such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM
• At least 5 years of experience in IT audit, with a focus on information systems and technology processes
• Strong knowledge of IT audit frameworks, including COBIT, ISO 27001, and NIST
• Experience with audit tools and technologies, such as ACL, SQL, and scripting languages
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify areas for improvement
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and technical staff
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
