Job Title: IT Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled IT Manager to lead our IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the implementation of IT systems and infrastructure to support the organization’s operations. The IT Manager will also be responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and reliability of our IT systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategies and plans to support the organization’s goals and objectives
• Oversee the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure
• Manage and supervise IT staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
• Ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of IT systems and data, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Develop and manage IT budgets, including procurement of IT equipment and services
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize IT needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in IT and make recommendations for their adoption

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 5 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role
• Professional certification in IT, such as Cisco, Microsoft, or ITIL, is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct IT staff
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Fluency in English and Amharic is required, with knowledge of other local languages an advantage
