Job Title: Community Relations & CSR Manager
Brief Summary
We are seeking an experienced Community Relations & CSR Manager to develop and implement community engagement and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives that promote our company’s values and reputation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in community development, stakeholder engagement, and social responsibility. The Community Relations & CSR Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure our company’s operations are socially responsible and contribute to the well-being of the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community relations and CSR strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote the company’s reputation and values
- Identify and develop community engagement initiatives that promote social responsibility and contribute to the well-being of local communities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that community relations and CSR considerations are integrated into business operations and decision-making processes
- Develop and manage budgets for community relations and CSR initiatives
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community relations and CSR initiatives and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Sociology, Social Work, Community Development, or Business Administration from a recognized Ethiopian university
- Minimum 5 years of experience in community development, stakeholder engagement, or corporate social responsibility
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian laws and regulations related to community development and social responsibility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Strong project management and budgeting skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Fluency in Amharic and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
- Experience working with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders in Ethiopia
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
