Job Title: Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME for Dashen Bank Sululta Lode and Sululta Mizan Branch

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME to join our team at Dashen Bank Sululta Lode and Sululta Mizan Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing the bank’s relationship with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and retail micro and small enterprise (RMSE) customers, identifying business opportunities, and providing tailored financial solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to acquire new SME and RMSE customers and expand existing relationships
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities and stay up-to-date with industry trends
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at SME and RMSE customer organizations
  • Identify and mitigate credit risks associated with SME and RMSE lending, ensuring compliance with the bank’s credit policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including credit, risk, and product teams, to develop and deliver tailored financial solutions to SME and RMSE customers
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for SME and RMSE business growth and customer acquisition

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in banking, finance, or a related field, with a focus on SME and RMSE business development and relationship management
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, and customer relationship management
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian banking regulations, laws, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate credit risks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in Amharic and English, with knowledge of other local languages an advantage
