Job Title: Senior Reward and Benefits Officer

Contract Duration: 2 Years

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reward and Benefits Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our organization’s reward and benefits strategies to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This is a fixed-term contract for a period of two years, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization’s human resources practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive reward and benefits strategies that align with the organization’s overall business objectives
  • Conduct market research and analysis to ensure our reward and benefits packages are competitive and aligned with industry standards
  • Design and implement employee recognition and retention programs to boost employee engagement and motivation
  • Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, pension, and other perks
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to reward and benefits
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to management and employees on reward and benefits matters
  • Analyze and report on reward and benefits metrics to inform business decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a reward and benefits role, preferably in a similar industry or organization
  • Professional certification in HR, such as CIPD or SHRM, is an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and regulations related to employment and benefits
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with HR information systems
