We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME to join our team in Addis Ababa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our business relationships with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective business relationship management strategies to acquire new SME customers and deepen existing relationships
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, providing financial solutions and services to SMEs in the region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business owners, decision-makers, and industry influencers
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and developments
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including credit, risk, and product teams, to ensure seamless delivery of our services and products
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that our SME customers receive tailored support and guidance to help them achieve their business goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business relationship management, sales, or a related field, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  • Proven track record of success in managing and growing business relationships with SMEs
  • Strong knowledge of the Ethiopian business environment, including the SME sector and relevant regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Fluency in Amharic and English, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software
  • Professional certifications, such as CBA or CFA, are an added advantage
