We are seeking a passionate, organized, and people-focused HR & People Welfare Coordinator to support our human resources operations and employee welfare initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation activities.
* Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
* Coordinate performance management and employee development activities.
* Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Support employee attendance, leave administration, and personnel documentation.
* Prepare HR reports and workforce-related data analysis.
* Facilitate employee engagement and internal communication initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Employee Engagement & Welfare
* Lead and coordinate employee welfare programs across the organization.
* Plan and execute employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
* Support onboarding programs to ensure a positive employee experience.
* Coordinate company events, team-building activities, and staff wellness programs.
* Act as a focal point for employee concerns and welfare-related matters.
* Promote a positive workplace culture and employee experience.
* Support conflict resolution and employee relations activities.
* Assist in implementing employee satisfaction surveys and action plans.
* Support diversity, inclusion, and workplace well-being initiatives.
* Monitor employee morale and recommend improvement initiatives.
About You
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Industrial Psychology, Public Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in human resources, employee relations, administration, employee engagement, or people management.
* Good understanding of Ethiopian labor laws and HR practices.
* Experience in employee welfare, engagement, and retention programs is an advantage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
