Job Title: SENIOR SUPPLY ASSISTANT, G7

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Supply Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support in the supply chain management function, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of goods and services. Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support to the supply chain management team, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
• Coordinate and monitor the delivery of goods and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective receipt of supplies.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts.
• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, including inventory management and supply chain performance metrics.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify supply chain opportunities and implement process improvements.
• Provide training and support to junior staff members to ensure capacity building and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics, preferably in a similar organization or industry.
• Knowledge of Ethiopian procurement regulations and international supply chain management principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with inventory management software and other supply chain management tools.
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multilingual environment.
• Certification in supply chain management, such as CIPS or APICS, is an added advantage.
