Job Title: Business Development Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends
• Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, providing excellent customer service and support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
• Identify and pursue new business leads, negotiating and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions, providing insights and recommendations to inform business development strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of success
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective business development strategies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience using CRM software an advantage
• Fluency in English, with Amharic language skills an added advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
