Senior Manager – Public Sector Advisory

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager – Public Sector Advisory to lead our team in providing strategic advisory services to government institutions and public sector organizations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in public sector management, policy development, and institutional reform. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading high-performing teams, developing business growth strategies, and delivering exceptional client services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of public sector advisory services, including policy analysis, institutional assessment, and organizational design
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government institutions, public sector organizations, and other stakeholders to identify business opportunities and deliver advisory services
• Develop and manage large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and client satisfaction
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and performance
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement business growth strategies and identify new market opportunities
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, research, and best practices in public sector management and advisory services

Requirements

• MBA or Master’s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Economics, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian or international university
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in public sector management, policy development, or management consulting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering exceptional client services in the public sector
• Strong understanding of the Ethiopian public sector, including government institutions, policies, and regulations
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
• Fluency in English and Amharic is required; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
• Professional certification in management consulting, public administration, or a related field is an added advantage
