Job Title: Transport Coordinator (Readvertised)

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of goods, supplies, and personnel in a safe and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods, supplies, and personnel to ensure timely and safe delivery
• Develop and implement transportation plans and schedules to meet business needs
• Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation operations
• Monitor and track transportation costs, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to transportation
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 2 years of experience in transportation coordination, logistics, or a related field
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Knowledge of Ethiopian transportation laws and regulations
• Ability to speak Amharic and English fluently; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
