Job Title: Electrician (Factory Adama)

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure the smooth operation of our factory. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems, including faults and breakdowns
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications
• Comply with safety regulations and standards, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout procedures
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian institution (e.g. TVET, university)
• At least 2 years of experience as an Electrician in a factory or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical equipment
• Familiarity with Ethiopian electrical codes and standards (e.g. Ethiopian Standards Agency)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in Amharic and English (written and spoken)
