Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with vehicles, using specialized tools and equipment
• Perform repairs and replacements of vehicle parts, such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Test and inspect vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
• Collaborate with senior mechanics and other team members to complete tasks and share knowledge

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in Automotive Mechanics from a recognized TVET college or institution
• 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a garage or workshop setting
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment, such as diagnostic scanners and air compressors
• Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment
