Logistics Operations Coordinator

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the flow of goods, products, and supplies from origin to destination, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. You will work closely with our logistics team, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the movement of goods, products, and supplies from origin to destination
• Plan, organize, and monitor logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Monitor and analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• Proven knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and logistics management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to think critically
• Fluency in English and Amharic; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
