Job Description
The Capex Engineer will work on all expansions and technical improvements across the factory, milk collection points and warehouses. Some examples can be the construction of a new production hall including machinery, calculating the required size of a new warehouse (and building it), upgrading milk collection points in rural areas or upgrading utilities such as generators and transformers. He/she will work closely with local contractors and select and manage international suppliers where needed.
Develop, design and implement technical investment project plans and Translate company needs into technical scope and drawings, prepare BOQs and technical specifications, and SOP updates.
Supervise civil, mechanical, electrical, and utilities works with the highest safety standards
Verify contractor quality on site and approve installations before commissioning
Lead construction on a day-to-day basis including managing sub-contractors and maintaining the highest safety standards
Monitor budgets, planning and resources across multiple projects
Lead commissioning and startup efforts, providing hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving support to ensure a smooth transition to operational ownership
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to process efficiency, capacity expansion, and cost reduction.
About You
Minimum a bachelor’s in engineering (mechanical, civil, electrical etc.)
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is a plus (GMP, HACCP, FDA)
Familiarity with utilities systems (Generator, refrigeration, compressed air, water systems)
A fast learner who embraces new challenges and can distinguish priorities
