Job Title: Warehouse Management Superintendent (Division Head)

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Warehouse Management Superintendent (Division Head) to lead our warehouse operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall management of our warehouses, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This is a senior leadership role that requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective warehouse management strategies to achieve operational excellence
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement
• Implement and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations
• Analyze data and metrics to optimize warehouse operations, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to ensure warehouse operations are within budget and meet business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record of improving warehouse operations, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control, and logistics operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with warehouse management software
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
