Job Title: Utility Engagement Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced Utility Engagement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective engagement strategies with utility companies, managing relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive engagement strategies with utility companies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utility company representatives, regulatory bodies, and internal teams
• Conduct regular meetings and site visits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize engagement opportunities, and develop effective solutions to meet business objectives
• Provide training and support to internal teams on utility company engagement and regulatory compliance
• Monitor and analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to inform engagement strategies and business decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Environmental Science, from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in utility engagement, business development, or a related field, with a proven track record of success
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian regulatory requirements and industry standards related to utility companies
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Proficiency in Amharic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth
• Certification in a relevant field, such as project management or business development, is an added advantage
