Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials from one location to another while ensuring the safety of the vehicle, cargo, and other road users. Key Responsibilities

• Transport goods and materials from one location to another in a safe and timely manner
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
• Plan and optimize routes to minimize delays and reduce fuel consumption
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations, including those related to hours of service and cargo securement
• Load and unload cargo as needed, using proper lifting techniques to prevent injury
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle, such as checking oil and tire pressure

Requirements

• Valid Ethiopian driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience
• Completion of Grade 10 or higher education level
• Defensive driving training or certification is an asset
• Ability to lift up to 50 kg and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with Ethiopian roads and traffic laws
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance tasks
