Job Title: Driver

Brief Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting employees, guests, and goods in a safe and efficient manner. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled driver who is looking to work with a reputable organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport employees, guests, and goods to and from various destinations in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain the vehicle in good condition, including regular cleaning, checking oil and fuel levels, and reporting any mechanical issues
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations, including wearing a seatbelt and using a mobile phone only when the vehicle is stationary
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods and materials as required
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers, responding to their needs and ensuring their comfort and safety during transport

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably with a reputable organization
• Valid Ethiopian driver’s license, with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g. TVET or vocational training)
• Defensive driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Good communication and customer service skills, with ability to interact with people at all levels
• Basic vehicle maintenance skills, with ability to perform routine checks and report any issues
• Physical fitness, with ability to lift and carry heavy loads as required
