Job Title: Terazo & Milling Factory General Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager to oversee the overall operations of our Terazo and Milling factory. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production process, ensuring quality control, and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the factory, including production, quality control, and maintenance
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality of products
• Manage and supervise factory staff, including production managers, quality control officers, and maintenance personnel
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations, as well as environmental standards
• Analyze production data and make informed decisions to optimize production processes
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years of experience in factory management, preferably in the Terazo and Milling industry
• Proven track record of improving efficiency, productivity, and quality in a factory setting
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Ethiopian labor laws and regulations, as well as international quality and safety standards
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software, such as ERP systems
• Fluency in Amharic and English, with knowledge of other local languages an advantage
