Technical Project Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead our technical projects from initiation to delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation plans, and project schedules
• Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, developers, and other stakeholders
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness
• Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and customers
• Ensure compliance with organizational processes, policies, and standards
• Continuously monitor and evaluate project performance, and implement improvements as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on technical projects
• Proven track record of successfully managing technical projects from initiation to delivery
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple stakeholders and deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail
• Familiarity with project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project
• Certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, is an added advantage
