Sr Advocacy, Partnership and Organizational Development Specialist

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Sr Advocacy, Partnership and Organizational Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing advocacy strategies, building and maintaining partnerships, and contributing to the overall development of our organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advocacy strategies to influence policy and practice at national and local levels
  • Build and maintain partnerships with government agencies, civil society organizations, and private sector entities to advance our organizational goals
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for advocacy and partnership development
  • Design and implement capacity-building programs for partner organizations and staff
  • Develop and manage budgets, reports, and other documents related to advocacy, partnership, and organizational development
  • Represent our organization at national and international events, conferences, and meetings
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of advocacy, partnership, and organizational development efforts

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Law, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • At least 8 years of experience in advocacy, partnership development, and organizational development, preferably in an international or local NGO
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful advocacy strategies and building partnerships with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Fluency in English and Amharic; knowledge of other local languages is an asset
  • Experience working with government agencies, civil society organizations, and private sector entities
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and other software applications
