Job Title: Site Acquisition Supervisor

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Acquisition Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the site acquisition process, ensuring that all sites are acquired in a timely and cost-effective manner. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate site acquisition activities, including site identification, lease negotiation, and permit acquisition
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine suitability for construction and operation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth site acquisition process
  • Negotiate lease agreements and other contracts with landowners and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and legal, to ensure site acquisition aligns with company objectives
  • Manage and track site acquisition budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and minimizing expenses
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Law, or Business Administration, from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • At least 5 years of experience in site acquisition, project management, or a related field, preferably in the telecommunications or construction industry
  • Proven track record of successful site acquisition and management experience
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think strategically and make informed decisions
  • Fluency in Amharic and English, with ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge of Ethiopian laws and regulations related to land acquisition and property rights
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
