Job Title: Site Acquisition Associate

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Acquisition Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and developing new sites for our company’s expansion in Ethiopia. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and development of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site searches and identify potential locations for new site development
• Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, landlords, and other stakeholders
• Negotiate lease agreements and ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and operations
• Conduct site visits and assessments to ensure site suitability and feasibility
• Develop and maintain a database of potential sites and track site acquisition progress

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Real Estate, Business Administration, or Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in site acquisition, real estate, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian real estate laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GIS mapping tools
• Fluency in Amharic and English is required; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different parts of the country
