Job Title: Senior Store Keeper

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Store Keeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the store, ensuring accurate inventory management, and providing excellent support to the team. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the store, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods and materials
• Ensure accurate inventory management, including conducting regular stock takes and reconciliations
• Develop and implement effective store procedures and policies to ensure efficient operations
• Supervise and train junior storekeepers and other staff members as required
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and materials
• Maintain high levels of customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
• Analyze and report on store operations, including inventory levels, stock movements, and other key performance indicators

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 3 years of experience in a storekeeping or inventory management role, preferably in a similar industry
• Proven knowledge of inventory management principles, practices, and procedures
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with inventory management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
