Senior Project Coordinator

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Senior Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and contribute to the achievement of our organization’s goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
• Collaborate with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure effective project communication and coordination
• Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any deviations from the project plan
• Prepare and submit project reports, including status updates, progress reports, and final project evaluations
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination or a related field, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
• Professional certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, is an advantage
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Asana, or Trello
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a customer-focused approach
