Job Title: Senior Network Administrator Officer-Internal/External

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Network Administrator Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our internal and external network infrastructure. This includes ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our networks, as well as providing technical support and guidance to our team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain internal and external network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks
• Ensure network stability, security, and scalability, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Implement and enforce network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members, including training and documentation
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure network infrastructure meets business requirements
• Develop and implement network disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and trends, and make recommendations for network upgrades and improvements

Requirements

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 5 years of experience in network administration, with a focus on internal and external network infrastructure
• Strong technical background in network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP
• Experience with network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet
• Knowledge of network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are an added advantage
• Proficiency in English and Amharic is required, with knowledge of other local languages being an added advantage
