Job Title: Senior Marketing Officer

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Marketing Officer to lead our marketing team in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to drive business growth. The successful candidate will have a strong background in marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think creatively and outside the box. The Senior Marketing Officer will be responsible for planning, executing, and measuring the success of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives
• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify new marketing opportunities
• Lead the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and events
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and creative, to ensure alignment and maximize impact
• Manage and optimize the marketing budget to ensure effective use of resources
• Analyze campaign results and provide data-driven insights to inform future marketing strategies
• Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve marketing efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
• At least 5 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing effective marketing strategies
• Strong understanding of Ethiopian market trends and consumer behavior
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
• Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, social media advertising, and email marketing tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
• Experience in team management and leadership, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
