Job Title: Operator Assistant (Mixer Operator- Laundry)

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining laundry equipment, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the laundry department. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including mixers, washers, and dryers
• Monitor and control the laundry process to ensure high-quality output and meet production targets
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective laundry operations
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Report any equipment issues or concerns to the supervisor or maintenance team

Requirements

• Completed Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field (e.g., textile technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field) from a recognized Ethiopian institution
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a laundry or textile manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintenance, including mixers, washers, and dryers
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and laundry loads
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
