Job Title: Senior Bid and Pre-Sales Specialist

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bid and Pre-Sales Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the bid and pre-sales process, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the bid and pre-sales process, including identifying new business opportunities, developing bid strategies, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to develop high-quality bid submissions
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with clients, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product teams, to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, reports, and other sales-related metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales, marketing, or business development role, with a proven track record of success in a similar position
  • Strong knowledge of the Ethiopian market and industry trends, with a deep understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience using CRM software and other sales-related tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop strategic recommendations
  • Fluency in English, with Amharic language skills an advantage
  • Professional certification in sales, marketing, or a related field, such as a Master’s degree or a recognized industry certification, is an asset
