Job Title: Security Shift Leader

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Shift Leader to oversee our security team during assigned shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, employees, and assets. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel during assigned shifts
• Conduct regular security patrols and inspections to identify potential security risks and threats
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a timely and effective manner
• Monitor CCTV cameras and access control systems to prevent and detect security breaches
• Develop and implement effective security protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a unified approach to security and risk management
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents, accidents, and other relevant events

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Security Management, Law Enforcement, Criminology) from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 3 years of experience in security management, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role
• Proven knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead by example
• Familiarity with Ethiopian laws and regulations related to security and law enforcement
• Certification in first aid, CPR, and basic life support is an added advantage
