RFP to Recruit a Consultant for Social Protection (School Milk) Pilot Project Documentation

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified consultant to document the Social Protection (School Milk) Pilot Project. The consultant will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data, conducting stakeholder interviews, and developing a comprehensive documentation report that highlights the project’s successes, challenges, and lessons learned. The goal of this assignment is to produce a high-quality document that can be used to inform future project design, implementation, and scale-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a desk review of existing project documents, including project proposals, progress reports, and evaluation reports
• Develop a data collection plan, including stakeholder interviews, focus group discussions, and observations
• Collect and analyze data on the project’s implementation, outcomes, and impact
• Conduct stakeholder interviews with project staff, beneficiaries, and other relevant stakeholders
• Develop a comprehensive documentation report that includes an executive summary, introduction, project background, methodology, findings, conclusions, and recommendations
• Present the draft report to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into the final report

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as social sciences, development studies, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in project documentation, monitoring and evaluation, or a related field
• Proven experience in collecting and analyzing data, conducting stakeholder interviews, and developing high-quality reports
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations
• Familiarity with social protection programs, particularly school milk programs, is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Amharic or other local languages is an advantage
