Job Description
Duration of the assignment:
Starting from 1st of May to October 2026. A total of 30 working days, with a potential of on average 5 days per month.
Scope of Work
Under the direct supervision of the Ethiopia H-IUD COF Project Director, the consultant will be responsible for the following:
a) Stakeholder Mapping and Engagement Strategy:
Finalize and maintain a comprehensive stakeholder map, identifying all relevant government bodies, NGOs, donors, and private sector actors involved in family planning and H-IUD introduction in Ethiopia.
Develop and implement a structured stakeholder engagement and communication plan to ensure consistent information sharing and collaboration.
b) Coordination and Facilitation:
Serve as a key liaison between FHI 360, MOH, Engender Health, and other core partners.
Proactively coordinate with the Engender Health team to ensure lessons learned from their pilot project are continuously fed into the CIP development and other FHI 360 activities.
Actively participate in and contribute to relevant FP TWG meetings and other multi-stakeholder forums, representing the FHI 360 project and ensuring its alignment with national priorities.
c) Support for Workshop and Meeting Planning:
Provide logistical and strategic support in the planning and execution of key project workshops and meetings outlined in the proposal, including:Preliminary FP TWG sensitization meeting
5-day CIP development workshop
National validation workshop
SBC materials development workshop
Dissemination meetings
This includes assisting with agenda development, identifying and confirming participants, and ensuring diverse representation.
d) Partnership Risk Management and Mitigation:
Identify potential risks related to partnership dynamics, misalignment, or communication gaps.
Propose and help implement mitigation strategies to address these risks, ensuring the project remains on track and collaborative.
e) Promote and facilitate Private Sector engagements
Identifying mechanisms to engage for the best utilization of privet sectors
Initiate the privet sector engagement platforms to ensure the inclusiveness and involvement privet sectors
f) Reporting and Documentation:
Document key coordination activities, partner engagements, and meeting outcomes.
Contribute to the partnership and coordination sections of project reports for FHI 360 and the COF donor.
