Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional trade marketing plans to achieve business objectives and increase brand awareness
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions
  • Manage and track trade marketing budgets to ensure effective use of resources
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide training and support to sales teams and other stakeholders on trade marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
  • At least 3 years of experience in trade marketing, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong knowledge of the Ethiopian market and industry trends
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions
  • Fluency in Amharic and English is required, with knowledge of other local languages being an added advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region, with a valid driver’s license being an added advantage
