Job Title: Senior Sales Officer – Agricultural Inputs

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Officer to join our team, specializing in agricultural inputs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to promote our products and services to farmers, agricultural businesses, and other stakeholders in the agricultural sector. Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, building strong relationships with existing and potential customers
• Develop and execute sales plans, setting targets and achieving sales growth in the agricultural inputs sector
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing and product development teams, to align sales strategies with business objectives
• Prepare and submit sales reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the agricultural inputs sector, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Strong understanding of the Ethiopian agricultural sector, including key stakeholders, market trends, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Proficiency in Amharic and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently to rural areas
