Job Title: Project Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to deliver projects that meet their needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery
• Coordinate and lead project teams, including setting goals, monitoring progress, and providing feedback and coaching
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies as needed
• Communicate project status, plans, and changes to stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and clients
• Ensure projects are delivered to the required quality standards, and that all project deliverables meet the needs and expectations of stakeholders
• Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, managing costs, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Professional certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, including Agile and Waterfall
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Asana, Trello, or similar tools
• Fluency in English and Amharic is required, with knowledge of other local languages being an advantage
