Job Title: Project Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to the required specification. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling projects from initiation to closure, ensuring that they are completed to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, including stakeholders, vendors, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to minimize their impact
• Monitor and control project progress, identifying and addressing deviations from the plan, and taking corrective action as necessary
• Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards, and that stakeholders are satisfied with the outcomes
• Develop and manage project status reports, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects
• Professional certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, is an advantage
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Asana, or Trello
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
