Job Description

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to oversee and coordinate our projects from initiation to delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project goals and objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Coordinate and manage project teams, including setting goals, objectives, and priorities
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize their impact on the project
• Communicate project progress, issues, and changes to stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and clients
• Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment
• Ensure project quality standards are met by implementing quality control processes and procedures
• Manage project changes, including scope, schedule, and budget changes
• Coordinate project closure, including documenting lessons learned and evaluating project success

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a similar industry or sector
• Professional certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, is an advantage
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to delivery
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, methods, and techniques, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, including MS Project, Asana, Trello, or similar
• Fluency in English and Amharic is required; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
