Job Title: Project Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation plans.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Track project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, reports, and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to the project team, including preparing meeting minutes, agendas, and other project-related materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or a related field.
  • Proven knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with project management software and tools, such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project, is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English and Amharic is required; knowledge of other local languages is a plus.
