Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the program team, including preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents as required
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and events, ensuring all logistical aspects are well-planned and executed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and filing systems, both physical and digital
- Develop and implement effective filing and documentation systems, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures
- Provide support in preparing program budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial reports are accurate and submitted on time
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including partners, vendors, and community leaders
- Assist in the development and implementation of program strategies, work plans, and monitoring and evaluation frameworks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international organization or NGO setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment, with a strong focus on customer service and support
- Familiarity with Ethiopian labor laws, regulations, and standards
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
