Job Title: Program Specialist

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical and programmatic support to ensure the effective implementation of our programs. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate program strategies and plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives
• Provide technical assistance and support to program staff, including training and capacity building
• Conduct needs assessments, research, and analysis to inform program design and development
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, donors, and community leaders
• Monitor and report on program progress, outcomes, and impact, using data and evidence to inform decision-making
• Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure program continuity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as social sciences, international development, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in program management, international development, or a related field
• Proven track record of successful program implementation, management, and evaluation
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with ability to interpret data and inform program decisions
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment
• Experience working with Ethiopian government agencies, international organizations, or NGOs is an asset
• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field is an advantage
