Job Title: Power BI Developer II

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer II to join our team. As a Power BI Developer II, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, develop data visualizations, and create reports to support informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and develop data visualizations
  • Develop and maintain data models, datasets, and reports using Power BI
  • Implement data governance and security best practices to ensure data integrity and confidentiality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Stay up-to-date with new features and updates in Power BI and apply them to improve existing solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
  • At least 3 years of experience in business intelligence development, with a focus on Power BI
  • Proven experience in designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data visualization, and data analysis concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Embedded
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices, with experience implementing data security measures
  • Certification in Microsoft Power BI, such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Developer Associate, is an added advantage
