JOB PURPOSE: We are looking for a strong leader who can manage processes, inspire people, and deliver results. The Post-Harvest Manager ensures that production targets and KPIs are met, quality is maintained under all circumstances, and teams are motivated to continuously improve.

This role is not just about flowers — it’s about managing operations like a factory floor, driving efficiency, and ensuring customers receive products of the highest quality.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Process Leadership: Oversee workflows from harvest to dispatch, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery.
People Empowerment: Lead, coach, and inspire teams to perform at their best, fostering accountability and collaboration.
Quality Under Pressure: Maintain strict quality standards even during peak demand or challenging conditions.
Target & KPI Achievement: Drive performance by monitoring KPIs, analyzing data, and implementing corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement: Apply Kaizen principles to reduce waste, improve standards, and enhance efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Production, farm management, and external stakeholders to align goals and resolve issues.

About You
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

BSC Degree or above in Management, Agriculture, Horticulture, Quality, or related field.
Certification in Quality Management, Lean, or Kaizen is an advantage.
Business Management or Administration training is desirable.
EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in managing processes and people — whether in horticulture, manufacturing, or other industries.
Experience in horticulture or post-harvest management is a plus but not required.
Demonstrated success in meeting targets, maintaining quality, and leading teams.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), Amharic, and ideally Oromifa.
Familiarity with Total Quality Management and certification standards (MPS, Code of Practice, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
Ability to manage data, analyse performance, and report accurately.
