Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication profiles
• Assist pharmacists with tasks such as filling prescriptions, labeling, and packaging medications
• Perform inventory management tasks, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement of pharmacy services
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technology from a recognized institution
• Registration with the Ethiopian Food and Drug Administration (EFDA) as a Pharmacy Technician
• At least 1 year of experience working in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, pharmaceutical calculations, and medication safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software applications
• Fluency in English and Amharic (spoken and written)
