Operations Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage our organization’s operational activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring business strategies, processes, and plans to achieve organizational goals. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies and plans to achieve business objectives
• Oversee and manage daily operational activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
• Analyze and resolve operational problems, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals and objectives
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and progress
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication
• Identify and mitigate operational risks, and implement risk management strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a similar industry
• Proven track record of success in managing operational activities, teams, and budgets
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other operational management software
• Certifications such as MBA, PMP, orSix Sigma are an added advantage
