Nursing Team Supervisor– Korem Project -Alamata Intervention

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Team Supervisor to lead our nursing team in the Korem Project -Alamata Intervention. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring that our nursing services are aligned with international standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans, policies, and procedures that align with international standards and best practices
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of patient care to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care
  • Monitor and manage nursing supplies, equipment, and resources to ensure efficient and effective use
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing standards and protocols

Requirements

  • BSc degree in Nursing from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Valid nursing license from the Ethiopian Nursing Council
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Fluency in English and Amharic; knowledge of local languages is an asset
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to work in a rural setting and travel to project sites as required
